At Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.

To travel from Mexico City to Morelia on the past it was a 8-9 hour trip on a very sinuous two way road, but on the last few years the Mexican Government allowed some companies to build a highway. Result: Mexico-Morelia today, just 3 hours on a very good highway. I'm explaining all of this, because while I was at my Oacalco House I found a picture of my Uncle Manuel with my mom... My uncle Manuel was a great influence on my childhood, always on good mood, smiling, and a hard worker. He was always a sales man with the gift of relations. On one day he visited some times up to 40 furniture stores. For several years he conquered the first place for sales at CATUSA (Beds and Mattress fabric) and he moved to Morelia many years ago. So I look at the picture, and I asked my mother in law Chelita, would you join me on a quick trip to Morelia? and she said -yes- immediately, so next day we travel to Morelia to meet my uncle Manuel, my aunt Adriana, my cousins Luis Manuel and Daniela and we ...

My Friend Yves

On my trip to Mexico I had the opportunity to expend some time with Yves Leroy Moriseau, an excellent gynecologist and a great friend. We have been friends for the last 24 years. He delivered my son Jose Alejandro 23 years ago and has been with me on my worst moments. What do you need to be a good friend? All you need is… to be a friend.

La Casa del Sol (The house of the Sun)

I visited today a little house I have in Mexico, near to Cuernavaca and Tepoztlan, My brother Jose Antonio named the complex with few little houses we built to retire there some day as "Quinta Sol" to honor my mother, and I named my house "La casa del Sol", and I started collecting sun figures... to decorate my house. My collection it was a little dusty and some pieces where damaged by the time... Here are some pictures of the Suns at Oacalco House, Enjoy!

The falling Star

While we were at "La Sarana Ranch" I was observing the sky.... it was UNIQUE... like all God's creation... and I had the opportunity to observe a falling star... I capture the sky with my Sony camera, but the falling star was a gift from God to me...

Reencounter...

Technology is great to be in contact with our beloved ones, few years ago, our family was divided by the distance, but thanks to messengers, chats and videoconference programs we have been in contact... but two days ago, I had the opportunity to meet with my sisters Tony, Paty and Martha and my brother Jose Antonio in the Family Ranch "La Sarana" on the middle of the mountains that surround Mexico City. We were there with no wifes, sons or friends... just the five of us. It was the first time that we were together since fifteen years ago ... wow... it was an incredible night. We were in the ranch having a great time full of memories, forgiveness, love, food, medical exams and fun. The seed of love and unity that our mother Sol planted many years ago in us, was giving us plenty of fruit. The experience to be together again, is somethng that we are planning to repeat as soon as we find another opportunity.

Together again...

Intimate pictures...

You can see the sound... or better said, you can see WITH sound. The ecograms are now every day use technology and is use to have really intimate pictures. Here are my most recent ones. I believe what doctor said... "There everything looks normal"

What if...

What if today is your last day? Have you reached what God has for you? Have you said I love you to the people you love? Have you cleaned your drawer? What are you carrying with you? Love…Patience… Forgiveness… Good Memories… Happiness? Or what? Regrets? You won’t have extra time when your clock rings… and then you’ll face our Creator with facts… no excuses… Will be to late for regrets. What it is done, is done. You cannot change the past, you cannot assure the future how it will be... one thing is certain, and it is today. You can make this day the most relevant or irrelevant of your life. If tomorrow comes... you'll get the fruits of what you planted today for worst or for good. Are you prepared? I’m not…

A day of forgiveness!

On 1985 I was having my jump start on production; I started working few months earlier for a new production company: TVFILMS, we got our first project: A baby shampoo and it was a huge project. We needed to recreate “Snow White” ambience, and to build a safe pool for few happy babies that will participate on that project. It is incredible the logistics that are behind a 30 second TV Commercial, all the details that have to be considered, the equipment that has to be rented, and free lance people to do from simple to complex tasks… Finally the shooting day arrived: February 14, 1985. Everything was running slow, but precise. The call was at 6 a.m. with a crew of 65 people ready to shoot. By 11:00 a.m. we had filmed only 3 of 18 scenes required for the commercial. At that time I received a call from my older brother José Antonio. My dad was died. He had a stroke few days earlier and he was transferred to the Central Military Hospital in Mexico City. After I received the notice, I walked...

Who taught them?

What to you notice on this picture? There is a little bird. Few days ago, I was waiting for an insurance agency to be open, while I waited I observed a little bird who was getting little branches... pieces of grass one, two times, and more... He was getting construction materials for his beloved... while she was working on the engineering's of the future nest for a new bird family. Many trips looking for a nice branch... a long one, or may be a not so long one... She inspected scrupulously every piece he brought to the construction zone, and if the new material was not exactly what she needed for the project, she dropped out from the nest the unappropriated part. Then he continued flying in and out many times... My question is: Who taught the birds to be faithful, constant, to do amazing things like to fly thousands of miles and fly back to the same place... to be able to build a nest... to do what they have to do without questions about... Is this what I have to do? Why other bir...

One Church... where you are!

Today it was a historical day for my church. Our pastor Troy Gramling is chasing God's vision to open up at least 50 campuses and reach at least 100,000 persons every weekend... at this point we have 6 Campuses: Cooper City, Doral, Hallandale Beach, Internet, Lima Peru, and Sawgrass at Plantation. Every Sunday we pray at 8:30 a.m. for the service, but today we meet at Cooper City Campus with our team as usual and also we included on the meeting, the Lima Peru Campus team, the Doral Team and the Hallandale beach team, thanks to technology! It was an awesome experience to see part of the vision for the future today... what to expect tomorrow? Only God knows!

Cold Heart...

Sorting information on my computer I found the picture I used for my CD in 1997, the title of the CD was "Cold Heart" and all the songs where dramatically sad, depressing and of course... cold. When I wrote that music it was really a time where I was sad, empty, with a lot of physical possessions but poor on the spirit, seeking out of time for something to fill the emptiness of my life... Last night while I was preparing the verses for our Internet Campus at Flamingo Road Church, I found this verse: Ecclesiastes 3 A Time for Everything 1 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. 3 A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4 A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. 5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. 6 A time to...
