He lives!

Today we celebrated Easter, in remembrance of Jesus death and resurrection, after the third day he conquered the grave and because of the Love of God for all of us, he gave us eternal life. We celebrated since early on the morning at Dania Beach baptizing at 7:00 a.m... many peoples lives were changed. I don't know how many, but I know more than 500 signed up... we broadcasted live from the beach and by 8:00 a.m. we were transmitting our first Sunday live service from Cooper City with our Pastor Troy Gramling sharing a great message about Miracles on the series "RationaLies". We got a great crow at that early service time... We also got a great feature song on the services with a great chorus and I was able to participate there also... what a great way to expend a Sunday Easter... He lives!

We will have 6 more services live today... so don't miss this opportunity to experience a great Easter Sunday no matter where in the world you are!.

Truth or dare?

One of the things that is surprising to me today, is the low value that many people assign to their own promises. Teenagers don't believe their parents, because they never fulfill their promises; Couples say "I'll stand by you forever" and few months later they walk on the opposite direction; politicians make promises to earn votes, and once the election is done, they forgot about it. I remember one of the first things I learned from my grandmother it was the value of my word. "A gentleman always fulfill his promises, a man with no word has no honor" and I learned to live by that principle. Few weeks ago, I was having a discussion with one of the leaders on the youth ministry at Flamingo Road Church about some technical difficulties we were experiencing during the broadcasting of our Student Service online, and I challenged him to fix the failures, so if he would complete the task with no errors, I will do my hair like him... Reencounter...

Technology is great to be in contact with our beloved ones, few years ago, our family was divided by the distance, but thanks to messengers, chats and videoconference programs we have been in contact... but two days ago, I had the opportunity to meet with my sisters Tony, Paty and Martha and my brother Jose Antonio in the Family Ranch "La Sarana" on the middle of the mountains that surround Mexico City. We were there with no wifes, sons or friends... just the five of us. It was the first time that we were together since fifteen years ago ... wow... it was an incredible night. We were in the ranch having a great time full of memories, forgiveness, love, food, medical exams and fun. The seed of love and unity that our mother Sol planted many years ago in us, was giving us plenty of fruit. The experience to be together again, is somethng that we are planning to repeat as soon as we find another opportunity.
