The good times!


This morning was a great adventure. I was awake early to my regular chat to God and then I walked to the beach to meet the sunrise.

After some exercise at the white sands of Cancun, I jumped in to the car and drove 50 miles south to Playa del Carmen to Meet Sigfrido Paz Paredes Jr., another greatest friend of mine, who is living at Chetumal city, in the south Mexican border, but he was visiting Playa del Carmen, so by 8:30 we where having breakfast together.

Sigfrido, is a brilliant and sensitive man, always optimistic, creative and as his father, a great visionary. We ran several adventures that deserve, not a chapter, a whole book to talk about it. Now we are dreaming to start several projects and conferences to help people to reach their God’s potential for the Caribbean area. The happy and good times are back!

One of the things that is surprising to me today, is the low value that many people assign to their own promises. Teenagers don't believe their parents, because they never fulfill their promises; Couples say "I'll stand by you forever" and few months later they walk on the opposite direction; politicians make promises to earn votes, and once the election is done, they forgot about it. The Tree of faith!

Last January we were on the process of buying our house, by that time we really did't knew for sure if we could get the property for what we offered... at that time, it was uncertain the purchase of the property, but we saw a tall Christmas tree and I always wanted to have a tall tree at home and I told Dora: "We are going to buy that tree, on faith" I knew that we didn't know for sure if we were going to get our dream house, but on faith we decided to buy the tree (It was also 75% off), so we bought it and stored until we purchased our house... then it was the first box to be placed on the attic, besides other Christmas purchases and we decided to bring it on before thanks giving, so here is a picture of the just unpacked and lighted tree of the faith... Decorations will come soon!
