Cheap Good and Fast

Cheap Good and Fast are three choices that we cannot have all together. There are simple Math Rules:

If you want it Good and Fast, is not going to be Cheap
If you want it Cheap and Good, is not going to be Fast
If you want it Fast and Cheap, is not going to be Good

Truth or dare?

One of the things that is surprising to me today, is the low value that many people assign to their own promises. Teenagers don't believe their parents, because they never fulfill their promises; Couples say "I'll stand by you forever" and few months later they walk on the opposite direction; politicians make promises to earn votes, and once the election is done, they forgot about it. I remember one of the first things I learned from my grandmother it was the value of my word. "A gentleman always fulfill his promises, a man with no word has no honor" and I learned to live by that principle. Few weeks ago, I was having a discussion with one of the leaders on the youth ministry at Flamingo Road Church about some technical difficulties we were experiencing during the broadcasting of our Student Service online, and I challenged him to fix the failures, so if he would complete the task with no errors, I will do my hair like him... 9 years ago, I was having the most difficult time in my entire life. After a complete breakdown, I was ready to take my life on my own hands and God showed me his mercy and I knew for sure there was a real God. I remember my first kind of prayer was “All right, I understood. You want me to stay… I’ll stay here, but I don’t know what to do with my life… please show me the way, because I’m lost. Show me the path you want me to follow and I’ll do it. You want me to stay on this life, please, show me the way”. That was my first prayer… and the answer came to me. Few days later, He sent me an Angel on a shape of a woman. Some one with great patience, love and understanding that took care of that task and wisely she guided me to Christ, not inviting me to church or talking to me about Jesus, or judging me for my past actions… she just accepted me like I was… and prayed for me.
