When I started this blog, I made a commitment with myself to write every day, to be constant and make my best effort every day, to improve my writing, little by little but every day, and my goal is to become a better English writer as time goes by… this sound nice… like new year promises… but the true is that we need discipline to produce what we propose ourselves, and any laziness moment can become a great obstacle to reach your personal goals. Last Thursday, I start writing my daily post, but I was tired, it was a long day, and I was not 100% satisfied with the content, so I said to myself… Ok, tomorrow morning, I’ll be fresh and I’ll finish this and I’ll write tomorrow’s together… but then it happened that on Friday, I got a lot of things to do also, so I just start to write Friday’s post (Without conclude my Thursday’s one), then my Friend Freddy jumped in, some prints to do, my daughters had to go to the movies I had to pick them later… and the day slip from my fingers just like water… Ok… Saturday I’ll conclude Thurs, Friday’s and Saturday’s… (Can you see the snow ball rolling down?) But there was also a lot of activities plus a kid’s party, a trip to west palm beach and once again… the day was gone. Finally today I decided to complete all the previous posts and to write today about this subject.
Today, while I was praying I got the following verse:
Matthew 6:34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
This verse reminds me about tomorrow, how it can be affected by today’s acts. If we are worried today we are loosing time but the other side of the coin is every day has enough trouble of its own… This day is unique… and laziness can set us up a trap… and we can get caught on it… that’s why is so important to have discipline. Discipline will allow us to complete every day with no worries and be prepared for a better tomorrow.
